Lamborghini Diablo Leather & Paint Sample Set.
Here we have two very hard to find items for the Diablo fan!
This is a pair of Lamborghini Brochures (or Swatches) of Leather and Paint pieces that a Salesman would have used to specify the trim colour on a new Diablo model.
#1 -The Paint front swatch cover is printed with the Lamborghini name and the famous Bull logo. The next page is a transparent outline of the Diablo car, which can be placed in front of any of the 11 swatches which follow to visualise the car in selected colour. The rear cover has the PPG paint company logo and their company contact details.
The sample pieces all measure 16cm x 8cm and are held together by the old method of "screw and stud", popular with several other Italian marques for this type of application.
All of the colour pieces (11 in total) are in good condition, and each has it's own colour identification on the rear, which range from 231.136 Diablo Rosso to 224.910 Midnight Blue Metallic.
#2 - The Leather swatch does not have any factory or identification marking, but has come from the same source as my other listings of paint swatches, and will be supplied in its original factory packaging.
The sample pieces all measure approximately 15cm x 10cm and are held together by a metal split pin.
The selection pieces (7 in total) are all in good condition, and the colours are Dark Blue, White, Red, Grey, Light Tan, Black and Cream.
As these sets are "tools of the trade", they are NOT genrally available to the public and can be considered a rare opportunity.
